Path to Graduation

Path to Graduation

The Path to Graduation page allows families and students to see the required course sequences for eighth through 12th grade students within the Jackson County School System.

Beginning in the 2023-24 academic year, the Jackson County School System is adjusting course sequences related to Science and English Language Arts. For students who attended or are currently enrolled in eighth grade for the 2022-23 academic year, a course sequence is available on the left side of the page. For students who will be in eighth grade for the 2023-24 academic year, or later, a revised course sequence is available on the left side of the page.

The sequences are determined based off each student's needs. Students will be placed in either on-level or advanced Honors/AP/IB placement for English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. Students will be placed in either the support sequence, on-level or Advanced Placement sequence for Mathematics.

Information for rising sixth graders is also available on the left side of the page.
