Project AWARE

Project AWARE

Project AWARE is a federal grant that has been awarded to Jackson County School System and focuses on providing Mental Health awareness, activities, and services to youth, Educators, and our community.

JCSS has a wonderful team dedicated to promoting the wellness of our youth. Project AWARE will help to grow the Mental Health infrastructure. 

Project Aware will assist in providing: 

  • Mental Health literacy for parents/guardians, teachers, counselors, and other adults that affect and support school-aged youth.

  • Collaborative relationships with local and state agencies; Community and Provider connections for youth and families in need. 

  • Training within our schools and in the community to promote Mental Health and overall wellness.
