    I am excited to be able to serve East Jackson Middle School and look forward to working with all students, parents, staff and community members.

    I have spent 27 of my 32 years in education in Jackson County. I have served as teacher, coach, and assistant principal. Jackson County has been a great place to work and raise a family. It is a place committed to the success and welfare of all children.

    East Jackson Middle School embodies that commitment. EJMS is filled with caring faculty and staff members and I am honored to serve with them as we strive to help all students succeed.

    I enter the 2022 - 2023 school year with great anticipation, excitement, and expectation. There is no doubt that we are all ready to get back to a "normal" school year. I hope that this upcoming "normal" school year will be filled with connected learning experiences for our students that spark interest and excitement in the possibilities for the future.

    In my 23 years at East Jackson Middle School, I have proudly served as a teacher, reading and language arts department chair, instructional support teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal.

    I am vested in this school and this community as a former Jackson County student myself, and now as a parent and educator. I can say in all honesty that I believe EJMS is a phenomenal school filled with quality teachers and amazing students!
