Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to West Jackson Middle School!  I hope that this school year is the best yet. 

To fully experience what it is to be a West Jackson Panther, it is important to understand our mission at WJMS.  As a school, we work continually to create a self-reliant community of learners who exceed standards through a diverse and rigorous curriculum.  As you grow into adulthood, it is important for you to be responsible for yourself both academically and behaviorally. Cultivating a positive attitude and strong character will help you achieve success as a self-reliant student.  To help support you in this growth, we have created PBIS guidelines.
