Bryant Named Assistant Superintendent for Financial Services

Erin Bryant has been approved by the Jackson County Board of Education as the new Assistant Superintendent for Financial Services. Bryant will replace Chief Financial Officer Annah Dodge, who is retiring in March. 

Bryant currently serves as the Director of Finance for the Jackson County School System, a position she has held since 2021. In her role as Director, Bryant has served as the individual responsible for financial management and reporting of the district’s funds. She has overseen payroll, accounts payable, budgeting and state reporting, along with playing a key role in training members of the finance department. Prior to her role as Director, Bryant served as a Finance Coordinator and Finance Support Specialist for the system.

Bryant holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Georgia. Bryant has one daughter who has already graduated from the Jackson County School System and has two other children at Jackson County High School.
