Chandler Named Lighthouse Leader of the Year
Jackson County School System's Colton Chandler has been named the Lighthouse Leader of the Year. Chandler is an administrator at Maysville Elementary School. The Lighthouse is a network of 13 school districts from Northeast Georgia Regional Educational Services Agency (NEGA RESA), which serves students as part of the Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support.
"Colton has exemplified a leader who is truly a Beacon of Light to not only his staff but
to all of us in the Lighthouse," said Jan NeSmith, the director of the Lighthouse program. "His desire for excellence shines through each and every step of his day to day as well as to the structure of the Lighthouse. Colton has been an integral part of building our structure to ensure program fidelity for all districts. He is always willing to collaborate with not only his peers but other stakeholders to ensure the very best for every student in the Lighthouse program. Colton’s leadership has a widespread impact on all of our Lighthouse staff and students as he strives for us all to provide the very best! Colton is truly deserving of the Lighthouse Leader of the Year."
