EJHS Named 2025 SSTAGE Rising STAR Recipient
East Jackson High School earned another distinction Thursday after being named a 2025 SSTAGE Rising STAR Award recipient.
The award is given by the Student Support Team Association of Georgia Educators (SSTAGE), and the Rising STAR award was given to EJHS for the school's commitment to refine their process in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). SSTAGE recognized East Jackson's effective implementation of effective systematic problem-solving at each tier, coordinated system of instructional supports and resources, coordinated system of behavioral supports and resources, coordinated system of assessment and progress monitoring, job-embedded professional learning and ongoing teacher supports, and a systematic plan for parent/family communication and involvement.
East Jackson High School will be recognized at the 2026 Promising Practices Conference in January.
