EJMS Opens Eagles Nest Food Pantry
East Jackson Middle School held a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday for the Eagles Nest, a locally operated food pantry for families of students attending any East Jackson school. This food pantry is made possible by donations from Kroger, iServe Ministries and Southside Church's Backpack Kids. This pantry offers families food, water, laundry products and feminine products. This pantry is available for any family with a student inside East Jackson Middle School, East Jackson Elementary School, East Jackson High School, Maysville Elementary School and South Jackson Elementary School. Families in need should contact their school counselor to sign up to receive the benefits of the Eagles Nest.
