LKMS' Barber Named Region's Media Specialist of the Year

LKMS' Barber Named Region's Media Specialist of the Year
Legacy Knoll Middle School media specialist Meg Barber has been named the 2026 Georgia Library Media Association's Northeast Georgia Region Library Media Specialist of the Year.
Barber has been the media specialist at LKMS since the school opened in 2023, and oversees the operation of the school's media center, social media management, communications and yearbook. She also serves as the school's cheerleading coach.
As part of being named the region's best media specialist for this year, Barber will advance to the state competition. The state's media specialist of the year award will be presented at GLMA's Summer Institute in June.
