NJES' Bowen Named 2026 Don Cargill STEM Scholar Recipient
North Jackson Elementary School's Kristen Bowen has been named a 2026 Don Cargill STEM Scholar Recipient by the Georgia Youth Science and Technology Center. This award recognizes outstanding educators who go above and beyond to engage and improve student learning in STEM disciplines.
As part of the recognition, Bowen will be awarded $500 to purchase STEM education materials for her classroom at NJES.
