The Jackson County School System will offer breakfast at no charge to all students for the 2022-23 school year. This is made possible thanks to JCSS receiving support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Special Provision 2 Program. This provision guarantees that all JCSS students will receive breakfast at the start of the school day.
“It is an opportunity for everyone to have a hot breakfast and a wholesome meal to start their learning day,” said JCSS School Nutrition Director Rebecca Thorpe.
The Special Provision 2 free breakfast program will begin on the first day of school for Jackson County Schools, Friday, July 29.
