JCHS Named 2023 AP STEM School

HOSCHTON — Jackson County High School was announced as a 2023 Advanced Placement STEM School by Georgia Superintendent Richard Woods. 

JCHS was named an AP STEM School in 2022, as well. 

Schools qualify as an AP STEM School when there are a minimum of five students testing in at least four AP STEM courses. Those courses can include: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C, AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles.
