Welcome to Empower

Dear Students and Parents,

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Empower College and Career Center, we would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! Our mission at Empower is empowering learners for success in an ever-changing world. It is our goal to work together with students, parents, and the community to create a personalized learning environment for our students to prepare them for college and career opportunities. We would like to see every student who attends Empower graduate being employed, enlisted, or enrolled in higher education.

As we begin our second year at Empower, we will continue to share many new and exciting experiences via social media and weekly newsletters. We value you as partners and invite you to be engaged with us as guest speakers, as partners in our Career Technical Student Organizations, and as participants at a variety of parent nights we will be planning throughout the year. We look forward to making Empower an exciting and remarkable experience for the students of Jackson County.

The Empower Operations Manual will hold the answers to many questions you may have throughout the year including the JCSS student code of conduct, bell schedule and transportation logistics, and pathway information.

We invite you to attend the Empower Open House events scheduled for July 26 and July 27 from 4:00-6:00. At this event, you will have the opportunity to tour the building and meet the teachers. Please set up your parent Infinite Campus account prior to the event to enable you to see your schedules. Remember that all schedule changes are done at the base schools.  Directions on how to set up your account are located here.
