Daily summer meals begin Tuesday, May 26

Picture of the flyer describing the plans to distribute summer meals to studentsJackson County School Nutrition Program is pleased to announce Seamless Summer Feeding, where no-cost, grab-and-go meals will be provided for children each day, beginning Tuesday, May 26, the day after Memorial Day.

Meals will be available for daily pickup Monday through Friday from 10 am to noon at East Jackson Comprehensive High School. In addition, school buses will follow five mobile routes into the community each day, delivering at designated spots on a specific schedule.

  • Meal packages will include breakfast and lunch for each day.
  • There are no income requirements or registration.
  • Any child 18 or younger is eligible to participate.
  • There will be no deliveries on July 2 and 3.


Parents can pick up meals at ANY location that best meets their needs, including the fixed location pick-up spot at EJCHS that is open from 10 a.m. to noon each day.
