Three sophomores from the Jackson County School System will be attending the Governor's Honors Program this upcoming summer.

West Jackson Middle School is now the fourth school within the Jackson County School System to be named a Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Lighthouse School.

The Jackson County Board of Education Thursday night approved the hire of Ms. Courtney Guess as a new assistant principal at Jackson County High School. Guess will begin her new role in the 2025-26 school year.
