The Jackson County School System will return to school to begin the 2026-27 school year on Thursday, July 30. Open house events for all middle and high schools will be held on Monday, July 27, and elementary open house events on Tuesday, July 28. Lev Hartnup has served as an assistant principal at JCHS since 2019 and was named the principal in March 2026. Mr. Hartnup began his duties as principal on July 1, 2026.
