About JCSS
The Jackson County School System serves more than 11,200 students in seven elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, and the Empower College and Career Center. We are committed to promoting student success through leadership, character, and performance from Pre-K through 12th grade.
We are excited to welcome you to the Jackson County School System! We are absolutely committed to student performance through personalization. We’re preparing our students for the future and will continue our focus on The 7 Mindsets: Everything is Possible, Passion First, We are Connected, 100% Accountable, Attitude of Gratitude, Live to Give, and The Time is Now. We encourage you to talk with your children about these mindsets and how they build character and academic achievement. In addition to preparing for remarkable learning experiences, our district is gearing up for record breaking growth in our community. It is an exciting time to be a part of the Jackson County community. We look forward to seeing the smiling faces of our students; they are the reason we are here. They bring energy to our campuses and hope for all of us. Thank you for your partnership now and throughout the school year.
