Board of Education
The five-member Jackson County Board of Education is the official governing body for the school district. The Board of Education holds its work session the first Thursday of the month and its regular monthly meeting the following Monday.
The JCSS Board of Education was honored with an Exemplary Board Recognition by the Georgia School Boards Association in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
